2008: 'Justine and Col and Mr Heggarty' was published in the Griffith Review 'Hidden Queensland' August edition.

....sometimes Col reminds me of a cow. He's got brown moo-cow eyes and his lashes are as stiff as paintbrush bristles.

2007: 'Driving the Inland Road' was published in the anthology: 'Journeys'. Edited by Barry Oakley and published by the Five Mile Press, this collection includes stories by Tim Winton, David Malouf and Helen Garner.





2006:
Inclusion of the short story, 'Whippy Taken' in the Australian short story anthology: 'Hidden Desires, Australian Women Writing', Girinnderra Press, 2006.

2004:
'The Compass', winner of the CJ Dennis Literary Awards, now published on the Canadian based Freefall Writing website.

2004: 'Woman with Lipstick', one of the winners of the ABC Short Story award and broadcast on regional radio stations throughout Australia.

2003: Awarded first prize in the 'Friends of the ABC Award' for the short story: 'Mr Lee's Supremely Delicious Chinese Café', as judged by Judith Rodriguez and broadcast on ABC radio.
